The SICUROTRON FLIK emergency lighting elements are suitable for use in emergency lighting systems according to VDE 0108 or EN 50172 in continuous or standby mode. They operate 4-pin fluorescent lamps with conventional ballasts, starter, or electronic ballasts, utilizing NiCd batteries for emergency power. The FLIK models are equipped with an automatic self-test function per IEC 62034, conducting tests approximately every 30 days, along with an annual continuous burn test starting 8 days after commissioning and reaching battery capacity. In case of a self-test error, the emergency lighting element reports the issue, and the LED status indicator monitors the condition until repair.
